Change of use to incorporate a new cafe and assembly building for the community
SA6 – Hill View Crescent
Our client approached us with a brief to create a mixed-use scheme to incorporate an assembly hall with additional café and recreation facilities.
While developing the plans and associated documentation to support the scheme at the planning phase, our expert designers pitched an internal extension which would take advantage of the existing property’s high ceilings.
We undertook surveys of the property and worked alongside approved consultants to develop a case for a change of use, our team produced a parking and maneuvering report, and worked with a certified roost assessor to produce an ecology report.
Along with a comprehensive suite of Planning Support Documents, we developed detailed plans, elevations and location drawings for the existing building and proposed scheme.
Planning was subsequently granted for the development in February 2022.
